Songs of war…and Pleasure!

Simon Keenlyside’s recital with Malcolm Martineau at the Wigmore Hall, in London on Saturday evening, 5th Nov, was simultaneously serious and funny! A real treat! It was a pleasure to be there and even more so to write the review. The recital was mostly to promote Keenlyside’s new CD, a dark, sombre affair, called “Songs of War”, which contains songs by a variety of composers on the topic of war and soldiers.
